UNVEILED Ministries - Contemporary Christian Music

UNVEILED, a Baltimore-based, contemporary-Christian-music group, was formed in the summer of 1997 as an outgrowth of a Bible-study fellowship at one of the members' homes. The small group of friends, most of whom were already active in their respective churches' music ministries, came together for the purpose of growing in Christ. As the members studied scripture and praised and worshiped the Lord, they grew closer to God and to each other. During the first year, the Lord placed within the fellowship's members a vision of Christian outreach through song.

In August 1997, this diverse group of singers, songwriters and musicians held its first concert and began sharing its original praise and worship music with audiences of all races, ages and denominations, ministering at Assembly of God, Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian and non-denominational churches as well as at youth rallies, outdoor events and coffee houses. In 1999, the group released two CDs, and, in 2000, UNVEILED was blessed to open concerts for national artists Vickie Winans at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Baltimore and Michael English along with Trinitee 5:7 at Hylton Memorial Chapel in Woodbridge Virginia.

UNVEILED has performed at urban, suburban and rural churches and has sold several thousand CDs. The group's songs have received extensive airplay on WRBS Radio in Baltimore and have been played on other area Christian radio stations as well. The group's third CD project, Where You Are Loved - - debuted in December 2001 and packs a new musical flavor and energy.

UNVEILED's mission is to be a music ministry of diverse members, united to exalt Jesus Christ, unveil His Truth and encourage others to follow Him. Well into their fifth year of ministry, the members of this non-profit musical group continue to make time for the weekly Bible study where their ministry was birthed. Their desire is to be who God intends them to be - - transformed into the likeness of Christ. The refining process that continues to take place in each of their lives bears witness to God's infinite supply of grace and mercy. They are challenged daily to deny themselves, take up their crosses, and follow Jesus Christ.
